Visitor visa for New Zealand

There are 3 types of visitor visa for New Zealand:

Visitor visa

You will need a visitor visa if you plan on travelling to New Zealand as a tourist, to visit friends or family or to study some short course.

Group visitor visa

These type of visa is designed for group visits, where whole group has same visit purpose or same tourist arrangement for visiting New Zealand.

NZeTA

Citizens of particular countries are not required to have visitor visa for New Zealand. If they plan on staying in New Zealand for a period up to 3 months, they can apply for NZeTA.

A tourist purpose means holiday in Australia or a visit to family, relatives and / or friends. Business purpose means participation in conferences, negotiating or market research for business matters.
