Student visa for the United Kingdom is not necessary for students coming from European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland, but this could change due to the Brexit. Students coming from third countries and wish to study in the UK must have appropriate student visa. Students who are enrolling in program which lasts up to 6 months or language course lasting up to 11 months need short-term student visa, while students who are enrolling in longer program must apply for Tier 4 student visa.
