Student visa for Netherlands

Students coming from member states of European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland can study in Netherlands without student visa or residence permit. Students coming from third countries and wish to study in Netherlands longer than 3 months, must have student visa (MMV) to legally enter the country and residence permit (VVR) which gives them legal stay in Netherlands.

• Students coming from third countries can work up to 16 hours per week during their semesters or full time during summer break. Students must have work permit for which the employer must apply
